Yonsoo Park began her violin studies at the age of 4. She received Bachelor’s degree from Boise State University, Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota, and currently pursuing another Master’s degree at Boise State University as a graduate teaching assistant. Her primary teachers include Craig Purdy and Sally O’Reilly. She has served as the concertmaster of University of Minnesota Symphony Orchestra as well as Boise State University Symphony Orchestra. She is currently a member of the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed with the Boise Baroque Chamber Orchestra, Quad City Symphony Orchestra, and Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. She has won competitions including Music Teachers National Association Northwest Regional Competition, Idaho State Civic Symphony Young Artist Competition, and Boise State University Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition.
