Evelyn Lee_9610_.jpg

Evelyn began studying violin from her mother Heidi Lee at age five. Growing up, she often played music with her siblings. She graduated from Suzuki at age twelve while taking lessons from Annalee Kelly. She has had lessons with Allen Lieb and Geoffrey Trabichoff, and is currently studying with Emma Rubenstein. She is a first violinist in the Idaho Falls Youth Symphony, and was a winner of the IFYS 2018 Annual Concerto Competition. She also served as concertmaster in the faculty/advanced orchestra at the Idaho Suzuki Summer Institute, and shared a stand with Corin Lee. She is fifteen years old and in ninth grade at Rigby High School, and wants to pursue a career in violin performance. Composer and violinist Fritz Kreisler has inspired Evelyn throughout her life. He once said, "no one can achieve great things unless their heart is filled with love."
