The Idaho Falls Symphony will host the Eugene Ballet Company for a performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake Ballet,” a story of rivalry for love as the black swan, Odile, tricks Prince Siegfried into leaving the white swan, Odette. Powerful and passionate dancing exposes the sorcery of Von Rothbart, the evil mastermind behind the mystery. Parents and children of all ages will be enchanted by an evening of magical fantasies much like Tchaikovsky’s own Nutcracker Ballet. The professional quality of the Eugene Ballet, from dancers and costumes to beautiful sets and choreography, will be accompanied by the magnificent sound of the full Symphony orchestra.
